close to motorway for overnight stop off and cheap
arrived after reception closed - already a queue of 4 other families trying to check in - their 'speedy' self check in took about 10 minutes per reservatiion - so we had to wait at least 30 minutes to check in

The location is quite reasonable; only about 5 mins by car from the town centre.
Although we requested a non-smoking room, the room smelled very strongly of smoke and the blanket had cigarette burns on it. One of the beds was not clean, having several hairs on it, and some of the sheets had stains. The rooms were very dimly lit which made reading difficult and gave it a dingy feel.

The room I got was clean and warm, complete with 2 single beds, bedside tables, as example, appreciated it. The hotel employees were efficient. The location was great and easy as for me, just next door to Strasbourg and Amiens and the tunnel.
Not obvious to find!

The location here was super convenient, close to a lovely Asian restaurant, and the free parking was a great perk - we got a room with 2 single beds.

Nothing. It was shabby and unpleasant. My children refused to get in the beds. We arrived after 21.00hrs and despite informing the hotel in advance the code numbers we had been given didn't work. Luckily we found the receptionist as she was locking up and she ended up checking us in. It could have been disastrous.
As above. Plus one of my daughters ended up covered in insect bites after staying in the hotel. It was a truly horrible experience. We stayed in a different hotel on our return journey for the same price and the whole experience was far superior. We were not expecting luxury, but some sort of comfort.
